The main object for which the Company is established is to support transition in Ireland to a just, sustainable and resilient society. This will be achieved through inter alia the provision of advice, loans and grants to community organisations and other charitable organisations working with the community for the purpose of promoting and supporting initiatives for the relief of poverty, inequality and discrimination, the promotion and support of cultural education of within communities;and the advancement of environmental sustainability and the protection of the natural environment within communities in Ireland.

The Company will also support and implement the aims of the Paris Agreement 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and/or any global initiative that may be put in place to combat the effects of climate change and engage in such other activities and provide such other services as are of a nature which is beneficial to the community.
