We also worked closely with the Mitchelstown Mallow and Fermoy Community Health Networks, and we are represented on the Cork County Connecting for Life Suicide Prevention Community Services working group and other groups by our CDO. We also manage the ‘Bags of Hope’ initiative as part of the Connecting for life suicide Prevention working group.
We organised a remarkably successful ‘Pride in our Community Competition in 2023. The School Garden competition was also run in 2023 Both these competitions were sponsored by Cork County Council, Cork City Council. These Competitions are very inspirational & reflect the huge voluntary commitment around the city and county by volunteers, teachers & children. I would like to thank my fellow directors, our staff, and especially the dedicated members of Community Councils and community groups all over County Cork for the huge contribution they make to their local areas every year. I want to pay tribute to them for their dedication and commitment to maintaining and developing services and facilities in their local areas. Local Cultural Companions Networks
